Volunteer Opportunities
The Regent Market Cooperative appreciates and depends on members doing volunteer work at the store on a regular or occasional basis. Your time and effort provides an indispensable resource for the Co-op.
Volunteering helps us by reducing labor costs. It also gives us access to a wide range of expertise and talent, something we simply couldn’t afford. Volunteering gives YOU a sense of “ownership” and commitment to the store. It also gives you the opportunity of networking and socializing with Co-op staff members, members and your neighbors that shop there.
Here are some areas that we could use your help:
On a regular weekly basis:
* deliveries to elderly or disabled neighbors
* clerical help / filing of invoices* coupon redemption
On an “on-call” basis:
* assist with quarterly inventory
* distribute fliers in the neighborhood
* Spring and Fall cleaning
* carpentry / repair projects
* computer assistance in the following areas:
- QuickBooks expertise
- website maintenance
- other general computer skills
